Curious about how you can help tackle the world’s most pressing problems and meet others asking the same questions?
Effective Altruism Uppsala brings together people who want to use evidence and careful reasoning to find ways to do more good. We meet once a week for relaxed conversations and fika in Uppsala.
We explore questions such as:
How can we improve global health, reduce animal suffering, address climate change, prevent future pandemics, or reduce AI risk?
How can we compare different ways of helping and learn what actually works?
How could our careers, donations, time and skills make a bigger difference?
Expect a friendly, informal setting where you can share ideas, ask questions and get to know people who care about making the world better. You do not need any prior knowledge of effective altruism, and you are welcome to bring a different perspective. Students and non-students alike are welcome.
Join us on Wednesdays at 18:00 at Café Storken in Uppsala. Check individual event listings for confirmed dates and details.
We look forward to meeting you!
