Eindhoven Social Club

May I invite you to join the day-filling kayaking event Utrecht.
We are going to have a nice time on the water
spending a great day together including a break for lunch/picnic.

Starting in the center of Utrecht we will first go for a nature area named Amelisweerd and Rhijnauwen. Our final part will be at the famous canals in Utrecht center

In the nature part we will have a big picnic ;) --> Sharing our food TOGETHER. Bring some nice food to share, ( preferable self made ) no white sandwich.
Bring your own plate and cup and cutlery. PLASTIC THROW-AWAY things are NOT ALLOWED

ATTENTION: if you want to join. transfer twenty-five euro's (kayak and event fee) at bank account: NL21INGB0005709450 t.n.v. MJG Dankers and the notation: your name + kayaking Utrecht.
IMPORTANT: Only members that have paid can count on a spot.
It will be a day trip.

As the usual we go there by car. We share the costs of the car together.
If not enough cars: no problem, you can also reach by train

attendees limited: maximum 30

We will get one-person kayaks, the others are two-persons kayaks. If you want to change kayak, we'll do that after lunch break

Put your wallet and phone and other important things in plastic bags (which you can close)!

Bring extra clothes for in case you might get wet ;-) You can leave them in the cars or at the boat rental.

We will return to the boat rental somewhere between five and six o'clock
where after we'll have a drink together in a café close by.

Join me for a hike through the dunes and along the beach!
Depending the weather we can decide to stay longer at the beach, and shorter hike.
That we decide together.

At the beach we will have a lunch break and of course those who want , join me for a dip or longer in the delicious sea :-) !!!,
If it is a very sunny day we can do some sunbathing, and perhaps do a game with ball (I’ll bring)

Don't forget to use sun protector! And bring water with you for the hike and at the beach. And of course your own lunch.

As usual we go there by car and share car costs. We go with as less cars as possible and as much as needed.
If you prefer to join with public transport, just let me know.

At the end we will have a drink together, in a beach pavilion, and optional, have a final dive in the sea before returning home!
