Eindhoven Social Club

In August ánd in September I organized a camping weekend in the beautiful nature of the Ardennes!
The September one will be in a groups house with fireplace as it might be too cold at night for in tents.

Ardennen weekend is still going on but we will stay in a groups house! :-)
To be sure of a warm cosy house for the evening and night. With wood stove and ping pong table !!!

Important :

• Costs : including the lodging, the kayaking *, all the food = (2 x dinner, 2 x breakfast, 2 x lunch), coffee , tea , juice, fruit ánd all other costs I make, total: €190,00.

Not included the car costs (we share) and go with as less cars as possible and perhaps a drink in a café.

What you should know before you rsvp YES and send a WhatsApp:
For all weekends that I organize there are some policies:

• we expect you to participate with all activities, like hike, kayak etc, cooking, washing up, making a bonfire, helping each other where needed

*no music - no smoking - use phone only in case needed.

How to get there: We go there by car, sharing car costs. We go with as less cars as possible. I do the coordination of the cars

Join us on Sunday, 27 September, for a beautiful and hilly 17 km walk through South Limburg!

Starting from Maastricht Station, we’ll leave the city behind and head into the Limburg hills. The route takes us through woodland, rolling countryside, the old Curfs marl quarry and the picturesque Geul Valley before finishing in Schin op Geul.

We’ll stop for a picnic lunch along the way and finish the day with a well-earned drink together. Please bring your own food, enough water and something small to sit on, such as a plastic bag or compact mat.

⛰️ Difficulty: moderate, with hills and some steep stairs
📍 Start: Maastricht Station
🏁 Finish: Schin op Geul Station

🚆 Both the starting and finishing points are accessible by train

Wear comfortable hiking shoes and dress according to the weather. Some sections may be muddy after rain.

Carpooling or travelling together from Eindhoven can be coordinated closer to the date.

Are you ready for another hike in Van Gogh National Park? This time we will follow the route in Helvoirt.

The 15-kilometer route starts and ends at Saint Nicholas Church by making a loop through forests, open meadows and past fens. On the way, we will pass historic buildings, such as Zwijnsbergen Castle, and natural sights such as Loon and Drunen Dunes and Hengstven nature reserve.

We will meet at car park in front of Saint Nicholas Church. We will get there by public transport (there are buses from Den Bosch to Helvoirt, please check the times in NS-app or 9292). If you have a car, please let me know. I’ll check the possibility of carpooling and do the coordination.

We will have a lunch break during the hike, bring your own lunch packet. Please also bring sufficient water and something to sit on (e.g. plastic bag) as the ground might be wet.

We will do this hike together with Brabant Adventurers and All Seasons Adventurers.

We usually have a drink together after the hike.
