Let's discover together the landscape that inspired Vincent Van Gogh!
Van Gogh National Park is a large area in the heart of North Brabant where the master painter was born, grew up and found his inspiration. It has five special Van Gogh hiking trails. We will follow the route in Tilburg.
The route starts and ends at Puishaven (17.3 km loop). We will meet up at Tilburg station and walk out of the city, into the greenery and discover the cozy Piushaven, the viewing tower De Nieuwe Herdgang, and the Landschapspark Moerenburg-Koningshoeven. Please be aware that we will walk around 20 km due to the distance between Tilburg station and start/end point.
We will get there by train (please check the train times in NS-app or 9292). If you have a car, please let me know. I’ll check the possibility of carpooling and do the coordination.
We will have a lunch break during the hike, bring your own lunch packet. Please also bring sufficient water and something to sit on ( e.g. plastic bag) as the ground might be wet.
We will do this hike together with Brabant Adventurers and All Seasons Adventurers.
We usually have a drink together after the hike.
