[$3] Dru Barner
Details
We'll start from the day use area at Dru Barner campground in Georgetown -- day use parking is $3, carpool option in the comments. From there, we'll find a trail. The Wendell T. Robie trail goes all the way from Auburn to Dru Barner, so that's the most likely option, but I haven't been there so this is exploratory. Presumably this will be out and back with significant hills and lots of forest. We'll hike however far ~3.5 hours gets us.
Rules reminder:
- No dogs allowed. Unfortunately, although the dogs were blameless, their owners have repeatedly risked the safety of people, dogs and wildlife in and out of the group. Ignoring this rule will result in immediate removal from the group.
- If you can't make it, change your RSVP -- even if you don't know until 1 minute before the meetup start time, change your RSVP at that time so that we don't wait around for you.
- If there are people RSVPed who haven't arrived yet, we'll generally wait 5 minutes (sometimes longer depending on the circumstances).
- If there's a wait list for a meetup, people with a history of no shows will be removed to make room for those more likely to attend. When there's a wait list, please try to update your RSVP at least a day in advance if you can't make it.
- You hike at your own risk. We try to keep people from getting lost or injured, but you are ultimately responsible for yourself and knowing your limits.
- Any sort of bigotry (based on gender identity, race, religion, etc.) is unwelcome and would result in removal.
