El Dorado Trail: Latrobe West

This is a 7 mile total out and back which should be at its most beautiful right about now. Expect rolling green hills (nothing steep), lots of flowers, lots of cows, a creek, bridges, birds, and rabbits. Also views of El Dorado Hills and a mysterious hillside.

Park on the side of Latrobe road in the wide gravel area just before Latrobe Creek Road (which is a tiny dirt road). It's across the street and slightly further south from the Lehman Barn.

Rules reminder:

• No dogs allowed.
• If you can't make it, please try to change your RSVP so that we aren't waiting for you. Even doing it a minute before start time helps.
• You hike at your own risk. We try to keep people from getting lost or injured, but you are ultimately responsible for yourself and knowing your limits.
• Any sort of bigotry (based on gender identity, race, religion, etc.) is unwelcome and would result in removal.
