Twin Peaks

We'll start at Sawmill Pond, which has a little parking lot off Sawmill Road just before Lake Tahoe Blvd. From there we'll hike up Twin Peaks. These peaks rise nearly a thousand feet from the valley floor to provide some great views of the lake and everything else. Expect about 5 miles of hiking, some steep. If you're up for more, optionally add a few more miles of flat walking across the street at Washoe Meadows State Park.

Rules reminder:

• No dogs allowed.
• If you can't make it, please try to change your RSVP so that we aren't waiting for you. Even doing it a minute before start time helps.
• You hike at your own risk. We try to keep people from getting lost or injured, but you are ultimately responsible for yourself and knowing your limits.
• Any sort of bigotry (based on gender identity, race, religion, etc.) is unwelcome and would result in removal.
