Celebrating 6 Years of E-bike Love - Annual E-Bike Lovers Picnic and Potluck

We're thrilled to invite you to our Annual E-Bike Lovers Picnic, a celebration of all things e-biking! This year, we're gathering in the beautiful Rock Creek Park at Picnic Grove 6.

This wonderful trail, just under 22 miles long, connects the Rock Creek Trail with the Trolley Tail and the Capital Crescent Trail, showing the best e-biking in DC offers. It is designed for E-bike Lovers' annual picnic, celebrating the conclusion of another summer season of e-bike love and happiness.

We arrive at 1 PM and start biking at 1:15 PM from the parking lot at Picnic Area 6 in Rock Creek Park.

The annual picnic starts when you complete the route or, for those who will not cycle at 3 PM. This is the start of the timeslot we have reserved with NPS.

Feel free to bring a folding chair for the picnic. We are also looking for extra folding tables.

You can only participate in the ride and picnic if you bring food to share. Now, we totally get it. Life can get busy, and sometimes, it's tempting to show up empty-handed and sneakily devour everyone else's delicious contributions. Bring food, but also don't bring too much. But, we need your culinary prowess to shine at this potluck!

Food and Drinks

Your ticket to this delightful day out is a dish to dazzle the crowd. Toss in a salad or other side dishes, concoct a casserole, or grill sausages, your culinary creativity is the key to entry!

We've got a BBQ set up for meat and grilled veggie lovers. Just bring along your culinary skills, and we'll provide the charcoals, the crackle, and the company.

Now, we wouldn't want a ten-tomato-salad situation, so we have pedaled up a handy menu guide. We already have an abundance of cookies. We're counting on you for the following crowd-pleasers:

• Appetizers/snacks
• Side dish/salads
• Main dish (could be meat or veggie option to grill) - top priority
• Some desserts - not a top priority
• Beverages (alcohol is not allowed as we are in a national Park).

We have reserved Picnic Grove 06 from 3:00 PM to sunset, in ROCK CREEK PARK PICNIC AREA.

We start e-biking first at 1 PM in the park, followed by the picnic starting at 3 PM. You don't need to e-bike to join us for the picnic.
