E-biking the Big DC Loop with E-bike Lovers

38.3 miles. Toilets are everywhere. The picnic stop is at Peirce Mill in Rock Creek Park, 25 miles into the trail.

This ride takes you on an extended tour of the many great multi-use trails in the DC metro area and ends with a ride down the National Mall. The terrain is mostly wooded stream valleys and has shaded tree cover for a good portion of the ride. Come join us on this urban riding adventure!

NOTE: YOU WILL BE IN TRAFFIC AND NEED A SECOND BATTERY TO COMPLETE THE RIDE UNLESS YOU MAKE IT SHORTER.

This 38.3-mile ride is nearly 100% paved, and about 80% is on multi-use trails.

The parking area is at the back of the Anacostia Skating Rink Park, which has restrooms when they are open. There are other restrooms throughout the ride.

We'll start our journey on the Anacostia River Trail, pass through Bladensburg Waterfront Park, and continue on to the Northwest Branch Trail. Next we'll take the Sligo Creek Trail the whole way to just outside the beltway in Silver Spring. From here we take a long, luxurious ride down the beautiful Rock Creek Trail following the Zoo Trail.

Finally we will find ourselves on the National Mall, where we'll ride right past the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument.

There are typically food and ice cream trucks for anyone interested. A short ride back to the parking area completes our epic adventure.
