BOOK THE SHUTTLE NOW: Shuttle reservations from Cumberland to Pittsburgh are open and limited. Email info@ebikelovers.com for the payment link.

The Great Allegheny Passage is a 150-mile rail-trail linking Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Cumberland, Maryland, following former railroad corridors through river valleys, forests, tunnels, and historic industrial towns.

With its crushed-limestone surface, gentle grades, and car-free design, it is accessible to a wide range of cyclists while still offering a strong sense of journey and progression through the landscape.

The trail traces the Youghiogheny River for much of its length, crosses the Eastern Continental Divide near Meyersdale, and finishes in Cumberland, where it connects seamlessly to the C&O Canal Towpath, making it one of the most celebrated long-distance cycling routes in the eastern United States.
