- LODGING: Although you will find many options in such a popular tourist area both hotels, Airbnb's, Etc. Distance to Sunday's starting location should be considered. A good option to consider is the Hilton Vacation Club the Historic Powhatan Williamsburg. It has 1 B/R to 4 B/R Suites. Lodging at Powhatan was well received by previous participants. Regardless of where you choose it is highly recommended you choose the full refund for cancellation in case of unexpected circumstances that may arise. Getting a group together to share a suite will decrease your lodging expense if you can book early. We suggest booking lodging as soon as possible.

The Virginia Capital Trail (VCT) is a paved bicycle and pedestrian trail crossing four counties and 51.7 miles (83.2 km) between Jamestown and Richmond, Virginia — that is, between the Colony of Virginia's first capital and Virginia's current capital.
Construction began in 2006 and completed to Jamestown in October 2015. With the Williamsburg extension, the trail extends approximately 62 miles (100 km).
Just across the James River from historic Jamestown in beautiful Surry County, Chippokes Plantation State Park is one of the oldest continually farmed plantations in the country. A working farm since 1619.
As usual, non-assisted bikers are most welcome.
