Interested in futures trading and looking to connect with other traders in the Elk Grove and greater Sacramento area?
Elk Grove Futures Traders is a local, in-person community for adults interested in learning, discussing, and improving their approach to futures trading. Whether you’re relatively new to futures or have years of experience, the goal is to bring traders together to share ideas, learn from one another, and build a supportive local trading network.
What We’ll Do
Meetups may include:
• Discussing futures trading strategies and setups
• Reviewing charts and past market examples together
• Exploring technical analysis, market structure, VWAP, volume profile, price action, and other trading concepts
• Discussing risk management and trade planning
• Sharing TradingView tools, indicators, and workflows
• Reviewing trades to discuss what worked, what didn’t, and what we can learn
• Talking about trading psychology and discipline
• Comparing different approaches to futures trading
• Networking with other local traders
The emphasis is on education, discussion, skill development, and community rather than telling members what or when to trade.
Who Should Join?
This group is for adults 18 and older who have an interest in futures markets.
Beginners are welcome, as are experienced traders willing to exchange ideas and participate in constructive discussions. You don’t need to trade full-time or be consistently profitable to participate.
The goal is to create an environment where members can comfortably ask questions, share experiences, and learn from each other.

Our Community
I started this group because trading can be a very isolated activity. There is a lot of information available online, but there is real value in sitting down with other traders, looking at charts together, exchanging ideas, and learning from each other’s experiences.
My goal is to develop a genuine Elk Grove futures trading community where we can meet regularly, improve our skills, make connections, and help each other become more disciplined and knowledgeable traders.
Meetups will have an in-person host present to welcome attendees, facilitate introductions, and guide the discussion.
Come prepared to meet other traders, talk markets, share ideas, and learn something new.
