River Rats Trip on the Kentucky River

Meet at Camp Nelson RV Park, where we will unload our boats. Our vehicles will be shuttled to Shakertown and the drivers will be brought back to Camp Nelson. This is a two day paddle on the Kentucky River, 20 miles in all. We will camp at Jessamine Creek which is roughly half way. Paddlers bring their own food and water.

Cost: $5 per boat to launch at Camp Nelson
$10 per boat to take out at Shakertown
$15 per driver for the shuttle
We will be paddling through the beautiful palisades.
