Hey everybody! The next Ember.js meetup will be back in San Francisco proper, and will take place on Tuesday, February 5th. A big thank you to our friends at MochaLeaf for hosting and providing drinks and snacks! You DO need to RSVP to attend this event.
You'll hear from some great San Franciscan Ember developers, while enjoying a great opportunity to mingle with the best and brightest local Ember folk.

Erik will show how easy it now is to get started building an Ember app. He'll start by showing the simplest possible app, building up to an example app using ember-data and fixtures. If you don't have any experience with Ember.js yet, this talk will get you up and running!

Andy Leeper will discuss how to write a custom adapter for streaming socket data. It'll be a hands on tutorial of how to build an IRC client server in Ember and Rails.
