Meditation in Treptower Park #4
Details
For this meetup, we’ll leave the open park paths behind and walk deeper into Treptower Park toward a quiet, secluded spot in the woods for a more forest-oriented sit.
This session is inspired by the old Buddhist forest practice: training the mind in places that evoke stillness, uncertainty and awe. We’ll reflect on what it means to stay present and steady in the face of discomfort, imagination, and the unknown — by learning to stay with what arises instead of reflexively avoiding it.
The theme is optional and lightly held; the main focus remains simple shared practice in silence.
Structure
- Tea and short introduction
- 20 min goodwill practice
- 20 min calm concentration
- 20 min insight / open awareness

We’ll meet at the bridge to Insel der Jugend, then walk together to the practice spot.
