Meditation and Tea in Volkspark Prenzlauer Berg
Details
This Saturday at 12:00, we’ll meet again in Volkspark Prenzlauer Berg for tea, meditation, and quiet practice together.
Last week we did a round of introductions with little glimpses into people’s lives and practice — how meditation shows up outside the cushion, what we’re working with, what changes, what remains difficult. I found that very beautiful, and I’d like to continue in that direction.
So I’ll bring a set of small “practice in daily life” prompt cards. Everyone can pick one and use it as a gentle starting point for sharing — or simply keep it private. Speaking is optional; listening is also practice.
The meditation structure will stay simple:
- Tea (Taiwanese oolong)
- 10 min goodwill / metta
- 20 min calm concentration
- Tea + sharing round
- 30 min vipassana
No need to prepare anything. Just bring something to sit on, warm enough clothes for the park, and maybe a cup if you have one.
Beginners are welcome, but the format is quiet and practice-oriented.
