The Emo Circle

We are The Emo Circle, a music lover community based in Berlin for fans of midwest emo, post-hardcore, pop punk and math rock. Our events include bar hangouts, karaoke nights, open jams and exclusive concerts! With how small our scene is here in the beautiful capital, it's our goal to bring all of us a bit closer together. Join us today and get to know other emo heads, find musicians with the same tastes, and make new connections!

Please feel free to apply to join our community and attend one of our public events today! We also plan to run some exclusive events such as private live shows and house parties from time to time. In these cases, disclosure of the location will be at the discretion of the organiser of the specific event. However, everybody is welcome to attend our events at public locations!

Quick note before you join, this community was created for fans of the emo genre (the one with whiny vocals, twinkly clean guitars, and dumb song names), not the emo fashion subculture or metal music! If you also happen to love metal that's cool, but just know that definition of emo is not what this group is about :)

Also, I know this *should* go without saying, but if you act unnecessarily hostile/aggressive/argumentative towards other members of the group, make people feel uncomfortable or unsafe, or generally cause unwarranted chaos/disorder at events, we reserve the right to remove you from the group. Likewise, if any of the above happens to you, or you notice inappropriate behaviour at any of our events, please message me (Ian Sush) to let me know so we can take action.
