About us

Welcome to The Real Life Social Club
No occasion? We make one.

Made for the girls, the gays, the creatives, the overthinkers, the socially curious, and anyone craving real connection outside of the internet.

The Real Life Social Club was created by a Black/biracial woman who wanted to build the kind of social spaces she wished existed more often: welcoming, expressive, culturally aware, aesthetically fun, low-pressure, and genuinely community-centered.

We believe life should feel experienced, not just observed.

This is a curated social club designed for people ages 21–40 who are tired of shallow social media culture, awkward networking events, hyper-cliquey nightlife scenes, and trying to build friendships exclusively through screens.

Through themed gatherings, PowerPoint nights, workshops, dinners, lounges, outings, discussion nights, game nights, creative experiences, and beautifully unnecessary social concepts, we create spaces where people can actually interact again.

This is not a networking group.

This is not an influencer event pretending to be community.

And this is not a “pull up and stand in the corner scrolling your phone” type of environment.

The Real Life Social Club exists for:
✨ women
✨ LGBTQ+ friendly guests
✨ creatives
✨ introverts & extroverts
✨ professionals
✨ artists
✨ solo attendees
✨ couples
✨ people with loud internal monologues
✨ people who romanticize life
✨ people who miss genuine human interaction

We focus on creating environments where meeting people feels natural through shared experiences, humor, aesthetics, participation, curiosity, conversation, and collective chaos instead of forced small talk.

Some nights may include:
• themed PowerPoint parties
• tea nights & dinner gatherings
• cozy lounge socials
• game nights with elevated aesthetics
• movie nights
• cultural discussions
• social mixers
• dress-up events
• creative workshops
• niche deep-dives & hot takes
• “why did we spend so much time planning this?” level concepts

At its core, The Real Life Social Club is about:
❤️ genuine human connection
✨ creating memorable experiences
🥂 romanticizing everyday life
🧠 curiosity & conversation
🎭 self-expression
📍building community in real life

You should join if:
• you want to meet new people without awkward networking culture
• you miss meaningful in-person interaction
• you enjoy themed experiences and creative events
• you want a reason to get dressed up and leave the house
• you enjoy humor, aesthetics, and thoughtful conversation
• you’ve ever said “making friends as an adult is weird”
• you’re tired of feeling disconnected in an overly online world

Whether you come alone or with friends, our goal is simple:

To create spaces where people feel welcomed, inspired, entertained, safe, included, and genuinely connected again.

Community matters here. Respect matters here. Good energy matters here.

This is a curated social environment, and RSVP approvals may be reviewed to help maintain the intended atmosphere of the group.

Dress up • Show up • Live fully. ❤️

Emotionally Sourced Research: A PowerPoint Party 📊🍸Women and LGBT Ages 21-40

Jenkintown Private Location, 100 old York road club house, Jenkintown, PA, US

Adult socializing is strange, so we’re replacing small talk with presentations.
Join us for a night of wildly unnecessary research, niche obsessions, questionable expertise, and dramatic slide transitions. Whether you’re presenting or just spectating, this is a low-pressure social night for curious people with too many thoughts and not enough appropriate outlets.
Present a short PowerPoint about:

  • an oddly specific theory
  • internet lore
  • cultural observations
  • behavioral analysis
  • reality TV psychology
  • historical drama
  • ranking systems nobody asked for
  • or any topic you’ve become emotionally invested in for absolutely no reason.

Examples:

  • “Why Every TJ Maxx Feels Slightly Haunted”
  • “The Psychological Warfare of Group Chats”
  • “Ranking Men Who Would Not Survive a Victorian Winter”
  • “The Economics of Cheesecake Factory”
  • “Why Pirates Were Basically Influencers”

✨ What to expect:

  • 5–7 minute presentations
  • drinks, snacks, and conversation
  • a relaxed lounge-style atmosphere
  • intelligent chaos
  • funny people with overactive internal monologues
  • absolutely zero networking pressure

Presentation Guidelines:

  • Max 10 slides
  • Keep presentations under 7 minutes
  • Funny, passionate, chaotic, or oddly insightful topics encouraged
  • No corporate/work presentations
  • No hateful or aggressively political content

Audience members are welcome too, so even if you don’t want to present, come hang out and enjoy the show.

This event is designed primarily for socially aligned guests ages 21–40 who enjoy creativity, humor, themed experiences, and intentional community. Women and LGBT Preferred!

Come overdressed. Come overprepared. Come with charts nobody asked for. ✨
