Who the hell is she?

Hi Everyone

Belated greetings from Canberra!!

I've just realised that I'm still listed as an Assistant Organiser (AO) for
this group. I was about to remove myself from this position as I was worried
people would ask "What's the point of having this never-seen AO if we don't
hear from her?"

Well this is because I used to be an active member of Melbourne New in Town
until I moved to Canberra for work in November last year. Nic made me an AO so
I could organise my own events instead of bugging him to update the Melbourne
Meetup site on my behalf :D

This is why I've decided not to remove myself from the Assistant Organiser
position. If I visit Melbourne (which I intend to do regularly) and want to add
things to the website, I'll have to do it through Nic - again.

So I hope you will all understand why your never-seen AO remains an AO.

cheers
Berenice

PS: You should also know that meetup groups can have multiple Assistant
Organisers. Anyone in this group is entitled to become one, and this will allow
to organise as many - or as few - events as you like.
