šæBangin Anthems Till 7AM: RnB, AFROBEAT, HOUSE @Iconic EGG š§Islingtonš¼ FREE
**Love dancing to hedonistic, highāenergy dance tunes?** Then join for our second edition of an euphoric, highāoctane dance music night with one of the finest French Swiss **danceāmusic DJs and Producers** out there dropin phenomenal uplifting spiritual, hypnotic melodic grooves for us to lose ourselves to in one of the most iconic venues in Londonās clubland ā **EGG** Islington, in the home of music. Collectively - their music has amassed over 18 million streams.
Expect a proper dance music clubānight experience with inspiring immersive lightshows / lasers for our bodies to sync in harmony to as with gyrate to the **rhythms** of the night. Obvs there will be no uncool mainstream "touristy" teenage pop but proper music anthems for non -stop dancin- think ecstasy inducing tunes you'd dance to at other dance music clubs like Lightbox, Egg, Bagleys, Ministry, Moondance, Fabric, Paradise, Studio 54 (Brooklyn) spun by global DJs renowed in these genres.
We'll join up to 1,500 other fellow cool young trendy music lovers for a night of blissful musical tranquility, Average age range will be 18 to 35ish heavily skewed toward 20s men.
**Free Tickets limited.** Sorry but if you don't love both uplifting dance music and dancing - please don't rsvp and deprive genuine musical dancers an extremely rare free place! And honestly, if you're only gonna stay for less than a couple of hours there's probably no point in coming. You don't need to stay till 5am like last time but as per most proper clubs - most revellers don't arrive untill 1ish and the main DJ / music sets don't even kick off till 12 so it's would be waste of a free ticket that you'd normally pay up to £70 quid for! Oh & please don't ask me about 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (like every time frequented clubs with my mates - I'd alwaly get some random 19 year old posh white english girl asking me for some - like seriously - is it cause eye is brown?). I'm not a biochemist - try your local Boots!
**=== Time To Make The Floor Burn But Early ===**
The only downside is we have to get in there before 11pm else regular door charge tickets will be about £45-80 quid. If you wanna pay for full price on door/ pre-buy and meet us in there later that's cool too as 11pm is understandably way too early to go a club (hence the free tickets) - we can sort out the details later. DM me for the free ticket link.
We'll meet beforehand somewhere quieter for pre-drinks, intros, banter and obviously music chats about our previous rave escapades, our fav tunes, and non-music related banter. As Koko gets packed by 2am (1500 standing dancing cap) and we have restricted free tickets - to avoid losing people - a small group size will be optimal for dancing and socialising so limiting RSVPs. Obviously you can dance with the other ravellers once they arrive. Will update with nearby super cheap pre-drinks Camden venue in the location and comments so keep an ear out

Chingford to Loughton via Brambly Shaw Wood + (optional) Pub
Fred will be co-hosting today.
I was going to do this walk from Loughton, but the Central Line is only running between Epping & Woodford (and to/from the other end, as far as Marble Arch). So anyone in Epping, Theydon, or Debden can still get to Loughton and jump on a 397 bus outside the station to Chingford Station.
The meet point is 11am Chingford Station, and we will be gone by 11.10am as a heads-up for all the normal late ones. The only exceptions will be general problems on transport routes. We are able to put up a WhatsApp location if any latecomers wish to catch us up.
We'll be stopping for a cuppa on the way, and finishing in the optional Plume of Feathers pub. Afterwards, those who need to get back to Chingford (including myself) can walk 10 minutes and jump on the 397 bus. Others buses available are 167, 20, and W14 where useful to those going home in different directions.
Please note that the end-time does include the pub time, and its only a guideline.
If you haven't already paid for May, I ask for a nominal contribution of £2 to help cover Meetup organiser fees. I always request no shrapnel please, but people keep presenting it to me. Anyone bringing silver will be asked to please go and change it up.
There are also a few members who feel that cash is extinct. If you are a regular who never has any cash, I will be asking you to take the £4 for a calendar month option (or possibly £20 for a half-year if you prefer), which is all beneficial to you anyway, and saves me extra headaches. The monthly rule can start in June if necessary.
For drivers, park in Beresford Rd and use the footpath between number 25 and 29 to go to the station. The postcode for that point of the road is E4 6ED.
If you're on the train, its the London Overground (now known as the Weaver Line) from Liverpool St. You can go from Stratford if you go over the internal bridge at Hackney Central to Hackney Downs for a train change.
The 97 bus goes from Stratford Station too (via Leyton & Walthamstow). Careful though, as end to end takes nearly an hour.
Chingford station is also served by buses 179, 212, 397, 444.
The 179 is very useful for a lot of people, going through Ilford, Gants Hill, South Woodford & Woodford. The 397 goes from Loughton Station
RISK WARNING/DISCLAIMER: Please remember that as with any physical activity, there can be dangers associated with hiking/walking, especially around waterways, forests, farms and countryside. Your decision to voluntarily participate in this activity is an informed decision. and by attending this event you agree and accept to take sole responsibility for your own actions, your own safety, and your own belongings.
Please dress appropriately, including sturdy shoes. Please bring any necessary medication with you. You will need to be sufficiently fit to walk several miles at a moderate pace. We may occasionally cross or walk short distances on roads; country and woodland tracks can be muddy or slippery; animals may be encountered on occasion.
INSURANCE: If either yourself or any guests you bring along require insurance for this walk, then you must arrange this yourselves.
GUESTS: If you are bringing any guests along, there is no facility on the Meetup site to record their details. Please ensure that you make them fully aware of the Risk Warning/Disclaimer and Insurance statements.

Philosophy in the Park 139 (inside The Barbican)
Philosophy in the Park is a philosophical discussion group. Open to all. No previous philosophical experience necessary.
We will meet outside St Giles Cripplegate.
Here's how it works:
* At the start of each hour vote on which questions to discuss. You can vote for more than one question if you'd like. The questions with the most votes are the questions we discuss.
* We then break up into groups and each group does a different question. The question is just a starting point and it's cool if you go on tangents and up end talking about different things. You're welcome to join in and participate or if you'd prefer you're welcome to sit back and enjoy the conversation.
After an hour we all come back together, take a quick break and then repeat all over again. So in 3 hours we go around 3 times.
The aim is to have fun, meet new people, generate interesting and thought-provoking conversations, have your horizons expanded, challenge your preconceptions and who knows - you might even learn something?
In order to make the conversations as fun, interesting and productive for everyone as possible please follow these simple guidelines:
1. Keep it Philosophical
(No Science, no History, no Sociology, no Evolutionary Psychology, no contestable facts, personal anecdotes etc).
2. Think for Yourself
(No phones, no looking up definitions, no name dropping Philosophers / books you've read).
3. Tangents are Cool
(Don't worry too much if the subject drifts and you don't answer the question).
4. Keep it Succinct
(Like this).
5. Be Excellent to Each Other
(But of course).
Philosophy is about conceptual analysis. It's thinking about thinking. It's not about empiricism or the real world. It's about abstractions, concepts and ideas.
To terms of the right attitude: It's not about debating and trying to win - it's about listening to people and working collaboratively to increase our collective understanding.
No homework or prior knowledge or reading is necessary - simply come and enjoy the discussions.
After the event finishes we have an area reserved in The Shakespeare pub which is just around the corner from the Barbican. You are very welcome to join us if you'd like.
If you would like to submit a question please join the Whatsapp group. Question submissions take place on the Thursday before the meeting.
We hope to see you there.
Nice one.
