**WALK START POINT: GROVE PARK Station** (National Rail). Look for Ken with the Kens Events/Meetup Flag/Badge outside the station.
WALK ROUTE: Chinbrook Meadows, Eltham Palace (from outside perimeter) Kidbrooke and Blackheath to Lewisham.

BREATHE FRESH AIR: Give up the city streets for a day and improve your overall fitness levels on a green walk. Our walks are social walks, where the emphasis is on meeting new people, enjoying nature, healthy exercise, and fresh air. Our walks are not interrupted with running commentaries or historical lectures, although occasionally features of significance may be pointed out. As such our walks will be continuous with few stops and it is your responsibilty to keep walkers ahead in view and to follow the direction of the walk. We always end the walk at a pub where the socialising can continue. *Be sure to join us in the pub for the whole experience!*

Do not attend this walk if you do not fit that description or if you have a medical condition (especially heart and/or lung conditions) that may impact upon your capability of completing the walk.
These walks are city walks and countryside walks where all the usual risks of injury during such walks apply resulting from interactions with road traffic, joggers, cyclists, e-scooters,other members of the public, animals (farm, domestic and wild), plants (allergic reactions), uneven surfaces, including portruding tree roots and potholes and there may be low overhanging branches.
In these walks we cross busy roads, use towpaths alongside water, bridlepaths, country lanes and sometimes ill defined paths and tracks through woodland, bush and countryside. Some tracks may be muddy and slippery, and conditions may be wet and icy. The walk leader is not and does not purport to be a professional guide, or a medical professional, but is instead a like minded individual who also enjoys hill walking and who is familiar with the intended route.

Waltham Forest Cycling Campaign (http://www.wfcycling.org.uk/): Meet 10am Walthamstow Town Square for a 10:15am start on the 4th Sunday of each month. Walthamstow Town Square is by the Central Station, which is only about half a mile from Walthamstow Queens Road station on the Barking to Gospel Oak line.
The ride is free to attend. We recommend bringing a bottle of water and maybe a snack. A spare inner tube is also recommended. We usually stop at a cafƩ or picnic location. Under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult
GREEN Ā£5 WALK: š³š²šæ CHERRY BLOSSOM at GREENWICH
The cherry bossom season is ending. We hope to catch the tail end of what remains at Greenwich Park.
CHERRY BLOSSOM, BLACKHEATH VILLAGE, PARKLAND, LAKE, followed by SOCIALISING with CHEAP FOOD and DRINKS in a convivial pub atmosphere.

The fastest way to get to Lewisham is to use British Rail from/via London Bridge (8 mins).

Free In-Person Meeting: Healing from Trauma and Past Betrayals
This is a free, in person meeting.
Burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to āpin the blameā on someone or something. If you donāt find the RIGHT reasons, or select the correct sources of the problem, the problem can just get worse and worse.
Whether in love or personal ties, with friends or at work, our life really IS affected by the quality of our relationships. Good ones can promote pleasure and survival while less optimum ones can lead to annoyance, anger, self-doubt, stress, or even affect our health and ability to survive well.
Whether you are suffering from a divorce, or a painful break-up, donāt know who to trust (or who to CHOOSE) as a partner, friend, boss or employee - the anxiety of relationship troubles can really make a mess of things. Maybe youāve suffered a betrayal, or are dealing with hostility or criticalness or invalidation. Dwindling relationships can involve destructive behavior, where we hurt those we love, or start succumbing to self-destructive thoughts, attitudes or behaviors that spiral out of control and affect much more than our immediate relationship.

Mental Health, how do you understand it? How can you improve it?
How do you get rid of stress, anxiety and uncertainty? These emotions are buried deep in your reactive mind. Find out what the reactive mind is, and in the process find yourself.
Have you ever suffered from a traumatic experience, a deep loss or been through a painful breakup? Has your ability to communicate suffered as a result? And after that, even though you "moved on" did you find that things were never quite the same? Have you ever looked at childhood photos, or reminisced your early life and wondered where that happiness and spark went?
Are your emotions out of your own control? Have you ever felt, even if you arenāt aware of it, that possibly you are getting in your own way of your happiness and success? How does this affect your self-confidence?
Find out what is at the root of all stress, anxiety, depression and self-doubt. Find out how and why you hold yourself back from achieving your goals and having the life you have dreamed of.
