Want to learn effective techniques to help family and friends cope with stress?** First Steps is a **four-day beginning course** introducing the fundamentals of energy kinesiology. Energetic Kinesiology is a holistic therapy that begins with the premise that the body is one interacting unit, a whole with many different parts, systems, and functions that interconnect and act upon each other. When stress is introduced into the system, physiological changes occur, and the body/mind must compensate to continue functioning. This reduces the ability of the affected area to operate at full capacity and efficiency. Energy Kinesiology's unique contribution is to offer a tool that can address and relieve these stressors. It is consistently used throughout the world to improve learning ability, creativity, and mind/body coordination, as well as to help relieve emotional stress, trauma, physical pains, and most ailments. In this course you will learn basic muscle testing and begin to practice primary energy balancing techniques. Your cat might be under 21, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t drink! We are bringing the cats to the beer garden. Feel free to come with or without a cat and get ready to socialize and raise a glass with fellow cat lovers! 🍻 This is a great opportunity to make new friends. I will be bringing one or both of my cats and they would love to meet you! If you bring your cat, make sure they are wearing a collar, harness, leash, in a backpack, carrier, and/or stroller. Please join Columbus Tea Lovers for a tasting of loose leaf teas at a private residence in Worthington. (The address will be sent out via private Meetup message a day ahead to those who have RSVP'd.) June 20th is the Worthington Arts Festival so feel free to attend that event which is down the street in addition to the tea party. For this tasting please bring a tea or tisane (an herbal brew that contains no tea leaves) does not come in a prepackaged tea bag. You can feel free to bring it pre-brewed in a carafe or thermos; please leave out the milk and sweetener as we will have some on hand to mix and match. We will have the kettle on and fillable single serve disposable tea bags if you would like to bring the tea leaves unbrewed and extra tea cups on hand as well. We welcome you to bring snacks or desserts that are you enjoy pairing with tea. You can bring a chair if the day is nice in case we sit outside. There is a cat in the house, so be aware in case of allergies. If you want to write in the chat what you plan to bring so we don't have a lot of the same thing, please do so!
