We are thrilled that Janmashtami, the Birthday of Lord Krishna, is celebrated on Wednesday Sept 6th this year! You are invited to join us for a heart opening Krishna Kirtan as we chant in celebration of the Lord of Love himself - Krishna! This is a very auspicious day to come together for the practice of Kirtan! We are very much looking forward to sharing Krishna's Birthday Celebration with you! Merry, Trevor and Blake will be joined by our friends Anna, Ivan, and Scott, of Sunday Kirtan & Heartsongs.

**A portion of your ticket price will be donated to Vrindavan, India Flood Relief efforts**

Tickets are offered on a sliding scale - please register at a ticket price that feels good to you!

The holy city of Vrindavan India is the sacred place where Krishna grew up. Vrindavan is currently experiencing the biggest flood of the Yamuna river since the 1970's, which has caused great hardship and loss. We are happy to donate a portion of every ticket to the Vrindavan flood relief efforts in India.

Come sing, dance, and enjoy laughter and community. Nothing brings out your most authentic self like Kirtan! Join Merry Trentadue and friends in the exploration and passionate practice of chanting the divine names from the Bhakti Tradition! Kirtan is a form of interactive musical mantra meditation! No experience is necessary, all are welcome!

The divine names clean our hearts and clean our minds and awakens our divine potential.

A HEPA air filtration is installed in the studio heating / cooling system at the Soul of Yoga.

Please bring what you’d like to sit on (Meditation pillow, blanket, etc.)

Purchase tickets in advance: Sliding scale ($20-$40)

**No one turned away for lack of funds, please email the host Merry Trentadue before the day of the event for assistance: merrytyoga@gmail.com
