I've tried reaching out to patient communities on the internet for 10+ years. It seems that virtually all of them lack the motivation to learn and help.

I've been in DC, visiting the Congressional offices for the past year. It seems that Congresspeople will only do something if there is enough demand for it. So there's a catch-22 here.

I've contacted dozens of media outlets, and none of them respond.

So what can we do? With 60%+ of Americans with a chronic disease, the vast majority of people are either directly affected or have a loved one who is. Yet no one seems to care. How can we make people care? Or how can we make the treatment available despite people not caring?
