What we’re about
This is a club for those who love the beach and all that it represents here in southern California. Whether your gig is surfing, long-boarding, sailing, kayaking, jet skiing, beach volleyball, paddle-ball, Frisbee, beach-fires, biking on the Newport boardwalk, walking in the sand, running in the water, sitting with an umbrella overhead and a drink in hand, or just getting a tan, this is your chance to meetup with other professionals in our quest for the Endless Summer.

Weekly Tuesday Night Run in Corona Del Mar
Lookout Point, 3001 Ocean Blvd, Corona Del Mar, CA 92625, Corona del Mar, CA, USPlease note: this is a cross-post. The main listing is on OC TRI N Run meetup, and usually 10-30 people show up to this hang out.
Meeting and announcements at 6pm. Run starting at 6:10pm.
Because of the hill repeats and stair repeats, this is a great workout for legs and glutes with really great people as well! We run to little corona, do a steep ramp 1 to 10 times, run back to the China Cove stairs and do those 1 to 10 times (112 stairs), and then back to the start. It takes about an hour, and you can go at any pace that you're comfortable going. The views are so wonderful, you may forget you're exercising!
We have all speeds from walkers to 5 min/mile competitive runners/triathletes! This is a great run if you're just starting and want a group to keep you motivated.
We usually have a picnic dinner afterwards at the lookout point in CDM where we start, or go to dinner at Whole Foods in Fashion Island or somewhere else.
Distances:
Lookout point to top of Little Corona ramp: 0.6 mile.
Optional loop to PCH and through the Cameo Shores neighborhood: 1.5 miles.
Each ramp at little Corona round trip: 0.25 miles.
From the little Corona to the stairs: 0.75 miles.
Stairs round trip: 0.1 miles.
Top of stairs back to lookout point: 0.1 miles.
So: If you do 1 ramp and 1 stair set, that's 1.8 miles. If you go through the neighborhood and do a few hills and stairs you can get over 5 miles.
