This is a club for those who love the beach and all that it represents here in southern California. Whether your gig is surfing, long-boarding, sailing, kayaking, jet skiing, beach volleyball, paddle-ball, Frisbee, beach-fires, biking on the Newport boardwalk, walking in the sand, running in the water, sitting with an umbrella overhead and a drink in hand, or just getting a tan, this is your chance to meetup with other professionals in our quest for the Endless Summer.

SATURDAY 10:00 BIKE OCEAN TRAILS – SOCIAL EXERCISING
Bike Ocean Trails around Newport Beach.. Great for first timers, shy people, and expert riders. Are you ready for a beautiful fun day? Open for all levels and should have a basic level of fitness and be willing and able to ride as part of a supportive group. Well organized, informal, and fun exercising while socializing. We have scheduled stops along the way to ‘Group Up’ and hydrate. Bring any kind of bike or rent one. Rentals are EZ and delivered to the start - see end of this post.
JUST SHOW UP
Haven’t ridden a bike in a while? New to Meet Up or if this seems too challenging or uncertain – just come and do the first part. This is how the ride is designed. The point is to get out and show up for social exercise in the beauty of where we live. (EZ Bike Rentals – see end of post)
A MICRODOSING LIFE RIDE.
If you are in a hurry to get somewhere – this is not the ride for you because the journey IS the destination.

Meeting and announcements at 6pm. Run starting at 6:10pm.
Because of the hill repeats and stair repeats, this is a great workout for legs and glutes with really great people as well! We run to little corona, do a steep ramp 1 to 10 times, run back to the China Cove stairs and do those 1 to 10 times (112 stairs), and then back to the start. It takes about an hour, and you can go at any pace that you're comfortable going. The views are so wonderful, you may forget you're exercising!
We have all speeds from 15 min/mile joggers to 5 min/mile super humans! We don't leave anyone behind. This is a great run if you're just starting and want a group to keep you motivated.
We usually go to Whole Foods at Fashion Island afterwards for dinner and drinks. There's an outdoor fire-pit and heaters.
This event is CROSS-POSTED on 5 meetups. We typically have 15-70 people each week.Distances:
Begonia Park to top of Little Corona ramp: 1 mile.
Optional loop to PCH and through the neighborhood: 1.5 miles
Each ramp round trip: 0.25 miles.
From the ramp to stairs: 0.75 miles.
Stairs round trip: 0.1 miles.
Top or stairs back to Begonia Park: 0.5 miles. So: If you do 1 ramp and 1 stair set, that's 2.5 miles. If you go through the neighborhood and do a few hills and stairs you can get over 5 miles.
