Introduction to Hellinger Family Constellation Work
A Family Constellation is an embodied, holistic, integrative group process that has the power to shift generations of suffering and unhappiness. Many of us unconsciously take on family patterns of anxiety, depression, anger, guilt, aloneness, alcoholism and even illness as a way of "belonging" in our families. Family Constellations allow us to shift these patterns so that we can live healthier, happier, more fulfilled lives. In a moment of insight, a new life course can be set in motion. The results can be life-changing. In the late 1970’s, Bert Hellinger, who founded this work, trained in psychoanalysis, Gestalt therapy, hypnotherapy, neurolinguistic programming (NLP) and family therapy. In developing the Family Constellation process in the 1990's, he sought to distill the best of these practices and integrate them with important insights gained from working with the Zulu people. Here is a more detailed description of the origins of this work, which includes key insights from his time with the Zulu in South Africa: Cerridwen completed advanced immersion training in the Constellation Approach with Jamy and Peter Faust in 2005. This presentation draws from her experiences as both a participant and facilitator of constellations with additional insights coming from her extensive training in energy medicine, energy psychology and neurolinguistic programming.

What we're about

We are a gathering of learners and seekers pursuing better health, vitality, cognitive function, emotional wellbeing, spiritual attunement, inner guidance, personal empowerment, creative self-expression and greater harmony through our work with subtle energy, imagery, movement, intention and touch. Our work together draws from many sources including the very rich and diverse fields of Energy Medicine, Energy Psychology, Neurolinguistic Programming, Hellinger Constellation Work, InterPlay, Heart-centered Nature Questing, and Shamanism.

We begin by getting centered and grounded with basic energy medicine practices. Our events typically focus in depth on a specific topic or technique each time. Representative topics include: energetic boundaries, chakra balancing, clearing limiting beliefs, energy nutrition/energy protection, a comprehensive trauma clearing protocol, and suburban nature questing.

We are also brought together by our desire to serve and contribute to a More Beautiful World: a healed world, a world that truly honors the Interconnected Web of Life. This New Story contradicts our society’s ruling paradigm of separation, competition and domination of the natural world and our fellow human beings. As we envision and move toward a More Beautiful World, we are called to: strengthen our energies; connect with our own Center and with Source for guidance and wisdom; and to deepen our connections and sense of community with each other and with Nature.

This study group is offered at NO CHARGE as an offering of the Adult Enrichment Committee of First Church Unitarian in Littleton.
