Conversation Transformation: The SAVI Model®
OpsGuru, 675 W Hastings St 9th Floor, Vancouver, BC, CA*THIS IS AN IN-PERSON EVENT! PLEASE RSVP ONLY IF YOU CAN ATTEND IN PERSON*
Summary
In this one-hour development workshop participants will learn about the globally acclaimed Communication Model called The SAVI Model®.
The SAVI Model® is the System for Analyzing Verbal Interaction. It is a superb model for generating communication that transmits information not ‘noise’.
Corporate Teams, Family Businesses, and Organizations around the world use the SAVI Model® to dramatically improve their communications and team/organization effectiveness. The model is based on a 9-by-9 Grid using Red, Yellow, and Green colour coding for identifying the verbal interaction that is happening.
Description
The Workshop will involve participants identifying the Verbal Interaction patterns they see getting in the way of information flow in their respective teams/organizations. Participants will also identify the Verbal Interaction pattern they want to reduce/eliminate in their communications going forward, and one Verbal Interaction pattern they would like to increase to support greater information flow.
Workshop Activities:
A fun and revealing activity will be introduced for groups to experience the difference between Red, Yellow and Green Colour Verbal Interactions in connection to managing a software development project.
Expected Outcomes
1. Learn how to apply the SAVI Model® for enhancing your communication as a manager/leader.
2. Discern Verbal Interaction patterns in your team that are impeding information flow.
3. Feel excited to try new verbal interactions that will enhance both information flow and relationships.
