What's Top of Mind for You?
Details
One of the questions many of us regularly ask our engineers during 1:1s is simple:
"What's on top of your mind?"
It's often where the most important conversations begin.
The world feels increasingly chaotic, and so does our industry. Between AI, organizational changes, shifting priorities, and the day-to-day challenges of leadership, it's easy to stay busy without creating space to pause and make sense of what we're experiencing.
This session is an opportunity to do exactly that.
We call ourselves Engineering Leadership Collective - this is a small, highly collaborative gathering for Engineering Managers and senior engineering leaders. We'll spend an hour slowing down, reorganizing our thoughts, and sharing what's currently occupying our minds with peers who understand the unique challenges of engineering leadership.
There is no agenda, no presentations, and no expectation that anyone has the "right" answers.
Instead, participants are invited to bring a topic, question, challenge, or observation that's top of mind. As a group, we'll explore several topics during the hour and collectively offer perspectives, experiences, support, and ideas to one another.
Sometimes you'll leave with a new approach. Sometimes you'll discover that others are navigating similar challenges. And sometimes, simply finding resonance and realizing you're not thinking through these things alone is valuable in itself.
Because the circle is intentionally small, everyone has an opportunity to participate, contribute, and help shape the conversation.
Whether you're wrestling with organizational change, career decisions, team dynamics, AI, or simply trying to make sense of what leadership looks like today, join us for an hour of thoughtful conversation and collective support.
Bring what's on your mind. We'll think through it together.
