Hello… I’m Krista your ESL instructor here to help in any way I can! Learning English can be a difficult and daunting task but with the help of a native and CELTA certified instructor, hopefully you will start to strengthen your skills in a judgement-free zone with friendly people all wanting to help one another. This will be our first meet and greet to get to know one another, all levels welcome!

We will work together to improve English skills in writing, reading, speaking and listening. Each class will have a different topic to keep things interesting, I always welcome your feedback as well. This is the first of many scheduled meetings that I will conduct bi-monthly.

In our first session we will cover Idioms, an expression of language that highlights a feeling in a way that is not a literal translation but a comparison of life or meaning. An example of an Idiom would be, “it’s raining cats and dogs,” or “it’s a piece of cake.” We will be translating these meanings into their true or literal form of expression.

Please bring a pen with you to the meeting, if you are unable to attend please let me know by taking yourself out of the meetup 24 hours beforehand so that I can bring proper supplies.
