English Country Dance in Rancho Bernardo with Ellie Konitshek!

English Country is an easily accessible and fun form of dancing - you might have seen some versions of it in films like Pride and Prejudice.

• The dancing begins at 6 p.m.
• We dance every first, third, and fourth Sunday of the month at the Rancho Bernardo Swim & Tennis Club.
• Entry is $10, paid at the door with cash, check or Venmo.
• Beginners welcome!
• Come alone or with a partner. You'll mix around.
• If you are new, plan to arrive by 5:45 and we will give you some simple instruction to make your first dances even easier.
• Dress comfortably, wear comfortable, low-heeled shoes for dancing and enjoy the evening!

Each dance is taught by the caller prior to the start, and then the figures continue to be prompted during the dance as necessary. Dancing is done to recorded music, though we occasionally have live music as a special treat. There is a short break about halfway through the evening.
