English Country Dancing in Rancho Bernardo with Ellen Riley!

This is our last dance of the year, so come join us and end the year right--with jolly dancing led by Ellen Riley. Then watch for more fun dancing to come in 2026!
English Country Dance is an easily accessible and fun form of dancing - you might have seen some versions of it in films like Pride and Prejudice.

• The dancing begins at 6 p.m.
• Beginners welcome!
• If it's your first time, please try to arrive at least 15 minutes early and we'll give you some simple instruction to start you off.
• We dance every first, third and fourth Sunday at the Rancho Bernardo Swim & Tennis Club.
• Entry is $10 for regular nights, $15 for live music nights; paid at the door with cash, check or Venmo.
• Come alone or with a partner. You'll mix around.
• Dress comfortably, wear comfortable, low-heeled shoes for dancing and enjoy the evening!

Each dance is taught by the caller prior to the start, and then the figures continue to be prompted during the dance as necessary. Dancing is done to recorded music, though we occasionally have live music as a special treat. There is a short break about halfway through the evening when we enjoy yummy snacks.
