English Country Dancing in Rancho Bernardo--A St. Patrick's Day Celebration!

This Sunday is our St. Patrick's Day dance so come in green and get lucky with a program of fun dances called by Ellie Konitshek!
FYI, these dances happen regularly regardless of how many sign up via Meetup, so come!
English Country Dance is an easily accessible and fun form of dancing - you might have seen some versions of it in films like Pride and Prejudice.
- The dancing begins at 6 pm this Sunday, March 15th.
- Beginners welcome!
- If it's your first time, please try to arrive at least 15 minutes early and we'll give you some simple instructions to help you feel comfortable.
- We're a friendly group of people, so no need to feel shy!
- We dance the first, second and fourth Sundays at the Rancho Bernardo Swim & Tennis Club. In March that's March 1st, 15th, and 22nd.
- Entry is $10 for regular nights, $15 for live music nights; paid at the door with cash, check or Venmo.
- Come alone or with a partner. You'll mix around.
- Dress comfortably, wear comfortable, low-heeled shoes for dancing and enjoy the evening!
Each dance is taught by the caller prior to the start, and then the figures continue to be prompted during the dance as necessary. Dancing is done to recorded music, though we occasionally have live music as a special treat. There is a short break about halfway through the evening when we enjoy yummy snacks.
