This is the night we open the doors to our brand new Cologne studio — and we’re throwing a party.
The Jump-In Open Stage is a celebration for everyone who has ever played with us at Expat Improv. If you’ve ever taken a class, joined a workshop, performed at a show — this evening is for you. Come, jump in, play a scene, watch friends play, reconnect with the community.
And if you’re new to us? Even better. This is the warmest, friendliest way to step into the Expat Improv world.### How it works
It’s a jump-in / short-form format — anyone in the room can step up on stage when they feel like it. Play a short game, then sit back down. Or just watch. No pressure, no commitment.
Albert will host the evening and make sure everyone feels welcome — whether you’re a returning player or new to the scene.### Event details

We didn’t want to charge a fixed entry fee for our opening night. This evening is our thank you to the community that brought us here. Reservation is free.
At the door, drop whatever feels right into the donation jar — most guests give around 10 €. Cash works best on the night.
Every euro helps us settle into the new space.### What happens after
The bars and cafés of Kwartier Latäng are right outside the door. After the show, we head out together for a drink — because improv isn’t just about what happens on stage. It’s about the people you meet and the friendships you build.
Bring a friend. Stay for a chat. That’s half the fun.### One thing to know
Spots are limited to 30 people (players + audience combined). Please reserve in advance so we know how many to expect — and so we can send you the studio address before the night.
