English in Kreuzlingen

Let's meet for coffee at Cafe Stella, which is next to the Kreuzlingen Bernrain train and bus station. It also has lots of parking for bikes and cars. You can sample chocolate from the onsite factory and have a choice of lunch food and/or beverages in the cafe (https://www.cafe-stella.ch/en). If the weather's good, we'll meet on the terrace with its huge view over Lake Constance. We can also go on an hour's walk through the nearby forest canyon with a stream (Kreuzweg) afterward. If you just want to go on the walk, be sure to let me know in your RSVP and arrive by 2pm.

This concert is free with dinner at Il Boconne in Constance. I reserved a table for 4 and can increase that number by noon on Sunday - but it's important to reserve for the right amount of people since these evenings tend to be full. Please arrive on time so that we can all order together.

Stop by for a cup of coffee or tea and some relaxed conversation! Das Troesch Cafe is located at Hauptstrasse 42 in Kreuzlingen. If the weather is good, we'll be in the rooftop lounge (photo). If not, in the cafe on the ground level. It's an easy walk from the train station or across the border from Constance/DE. The cafe has cold beverages in addition to coffee and tea, but no food. If you want to have dinner afterward with other members of the group, we can go to the Coop restaurant around the corner. In addition to buffet food, they'll prepare a fresh meal and are open until 7pm. There are also two restaurants nearby - Grillhaus and Ciao Ciao - but they're more expensive.

Let's meet for coffee at the Alti Badi Restaurant close to the Kreuzlingen Harbor and the Kreuzlingen Hafen train station. It also has lots of parking for bikes and cars. You have a choice of lunch food and/or beverages in the cafe (see www.alti-badi.ch). If the weather's good, we'll meet on the terrace or sit inside if it's not. We can also go on a 30-minute walk through the nearby Seeburg Park with its animals, giant Sequioas (from California, like me!), and castle gardens afterward. The route is parallel to the lake, passes the Bottighofen Harbor, and ends at the Fischerhaus (for ice cream!) If you just want to go on the walk, be sure to RSVP and arrive by 2pm.
