# Wines & Lines: Monster

Join us for an evening of theatre, conversation, and community with Wines & Lines, our English-language theatre gathering featuring live play readings and thoughtful discussion over drinks and snacks.

This month we'll be reading Monster by Duncan Macmillan, a provocative and unsettling play about violence, responsibility, and the question of whether the people who frighten us are born that way—or made.
When a troubled young boy becomes increasingly violent, the adults around him struggle to decide what he needs, who is responsible for him, and whether he can still be helped. As teachers and family members try to make sense of what is happening, the play asks difficult questions about childhood, nature and nurture, compassion, accountability, and the limits of our responsibility for one another.

As always, no theatre experience is necessary. Whether you'd like to read a role or simply listen and join the discussion, you're warmly welcomed. Our readings are collaborative, informal, and designed to spark conversation among people who love stories, ideas, and live theatre.

Your ticket includes admission, a glass of wine (or non-alcoholic alternative), and snacks.
