We will learn, debate, enjoy and investigate philosophers and diverse themes from the philosophical perspective. Each reunion is structured as a conversation among all attendees about that day s philosopher softly moderated by the organizer. The conversation will kick-off from the very brief suggested reading providing easy access to all attendees both to the philosopher and the conversation.

MATERIALISM, the default Methaphysics of Science, inaugurated, once again, by a greek called DEMOCRITUS who asserted with incredible audacity and (almost) prophetic powers, that all matter was configured by atoms. And, more importantly, that all that exists is Matter... and the rest... VACUUM. As simple as that. Or Atoms... or nothing. This amazingly radical move resounds until today as, perhaps, THE MOST POLEMIC AND PERMANENT metaphysical debate all along the philosophical tradition, since includes the nature of Ethical values (do they exist?) , Natural rights, God, the Soul, Free Will, Deterministic positions and even the nature of time, as Past and Future can hardly be described as Material, so... do they exist ? In other words, Materialism puts into question the existence (in case they do exist) and therefore the nature and legitimacy of all that is not clearly tangible, extensive, material... The debate is so immanent and permanent to the enquire of reality itself that constantly appears on our grass with relentless insistence, as if this subject couldn't be ignored, delayed, replaced, postponed, taken for granted...
So, finally...
