7 Spices was recommended to us by new member Dee. Thanks Dee! 7 Spices offers Hyderabadi cuisine. Hyderabad is in the center of India so the culinary tradition is influenced by both the South and the North as well as local Telegu and Marathwada flavors. Hyderabadi biriyani is famous in India. Prices appear to be in the mid range and the restaurant is family owned and operated.

“We visited 7 Spices Restaurant after hearing great recommendations for their Desi Chinese and Hyderabadi cuisine.

We ordered the Chicken Manchurian gravy, Chicken Schezwan rice, and the Sufiyani Biryani. The Chicken Manchurian arrived quite quickly and featured a generous amount of chicken. It was beautifully decorated with capsicum and slit green chilies on top, offering the perfect amount of spice and a great gravy consistency. The portion size was very generous and more than sufficient for two people. Next came the Chicken Schezwan rice, which was a massive portion easily enough for three people. The rice was perfectly coated and spiced, making it an excellent combination with the Manchurian gravy.

Finally, we tried the Sufiyani Biryani, which is exclusively available on Saturdays. This dish was the absolute showstopper of the night! If you are craving authentic Hyderabadi "shaadi wali" biryani, you definitely need to order this. The accompanying mirchi ka salan and raita truly added "chaar chaand" to the entire experience.”
