Canvas - Kibana creator Rashid Khan will be on hand to demo and discuss Canvas, a new tool for creating stunning, presentation quality info-graphics backed by live data. He will also show the new SQL language support and how it is used as an expression language inside Canvas.

Lighting recap of Elastic {18} - We will highlight significant new features that are coming to the Elastic stack.

Cisco's Elasticsearch use cases - Sujith Joseph, is an Enterprise Search Architect (IT) at Cisco. He has been designing and developing enterprise search solutions powered by search engines for over 14 years. The enterprise search platform at Cisco powers cisco.com search and over 50 intranet and internet based search applications. He is passionate about Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Search Engines, Container technologies and Photography.

In this session, Sujith will give an overview of Cisco's elasticsearch usecases and share learnings from the deployment of Elastic Cloud Enterprise (ECE) for more than a year, on Cisco's UCS infrastructure. He will also share strategies used to achieve large volume indexing using ECE.

Cisco Answers Machine (CAM) – (Alok Raj) - CAM uses Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing to extract knowledge from Cisco documentation to answer products related questions. This talk will describe the system architecture for CAM, and explain how it uses ML/NLP to answer natural language questions.

Alok Raj is an IT Architect at Cisco Systems. He has designed Wireless Networking, DSP systems, and Collaboration and Content Management systems in the past. Currently he is designing the Cisco Answers Machine that can answer questions about Cisco products. He will be talking more about it in this session.
