This evening event will showcase the process and outcomes from recent enterprise work from top past UX Awards (https://userexperienceawards.com/) winners and judges in the Bay area. We'll also discuss what goes into creating outstanding enterprise UX work to give you actionable advice and tips to for your next project.

At 6:10pm, you are welcome to join us for a 15-minutes tour of AppHaus Palo Alto. The space is one of SAP’s three customer facing co-innovation studios in which designers, customers, and end-users collaboratively work on design and co-innovation projects. Open spaces and sound-proofed project rooms; exposed ceilings and concrete floors; walls that double as whiteboards, furniture that moves - every inch of AppHaus Palo Alto is designed to put inspiration to work. We’re excited to invite you into this treehouse of creativity.

Kathy Baxter (https://www.linkedin.com/in/kathykbaxter)- UX Awards Past JudgePrincipal User Researcher - Salesforce
Kathy is a Principal User Researcher at Salesforce in San Francisco. She uses her skills in HCI, ethnography, I/O Psychology, and experimental design to create innovative experiences in the Service Cloud and across Salesforce. Previously, she worked at Google as a Staff User Experience Researcher and the UX Infrastructure Manager. Prior to 2005, she worked as a Sr. UER at eBay and Oracle. Kathy received her MS in Engineering Psychology and a BS degree in Applied Psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology. The second edition of her book, "Understanding your Users," was published in May 2015.

Head of Product - 7 Cups
Christian leads product and design teams to deliver amazing cross-channel experiences. He is head of product at 7 Cups, the largest mental healthcare delivery system in the world. He is also a mentor at Code for America. He was Director of Product at CloudOn, director of messaging products for AOL, curator of the Yahoo design pattern library, and a director of theInformation Architecture Institute. Christian is the author of the bestselling The Internet for Busy People, and The Power of Many, and co-author of Designing Social Interfaces.

Beverly May (https://www.linkedin.com/in/beverlymay/)- Executive Director
UX Awards
Beverly is the Executive Director of the UX Awards and a UX and product specialist who has helped define and optimize hundreds of digital products and services. In addition to leading the UX Awards, Beverly teaches design thinking, UX and product product at General Assembly and The Concepts Lab, and she consults through her consultancy Oxford Tech. Beverly has aided initiatives for Code for America, the Exploratorium, T­-Mobile, Pitney Bowes, Hearst, Diageo, Nike, Novartis, the United Nations and many others, and has founded several companies. Beverly was also recently CTO & CPO at MIxIt, a social video mixing company in Berlin; former Director of Product Development and CX at Rodale, a US publisher; and Data Services Technical Product Manager for Amplify Education. Beverly has an MBA from Oxford University, a technical MS from NYU, and a BA from University of Toronto.

Tim Thianthai (https://www.linkedin.com/in/tim-thianthai-389baa38) - UX Awards Past Winner
Senior Internal Strategic Consultant, SAP
Tim works as Senior Internal Strategic Consultant at SAP Design & Co-Innovation Center (DCC). Tim is one of three designers for the SAP Tennis Analytics for Coaches app, a project that has won nine recognitions from seven different awards across the globe - one of which was the 2015 UX Awards People’s Choice. Through years of experience in the field, Tim believes strongly that the ability to listen, observe, and adapt are the keys to success. Tim holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Transdisciplinary Design from California College of the Arts and a BA in Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University.
