Join us for an eye-opening documentary that follows Captain Charles Moore and his team as they sail through the Pacific Garbage Patch, collecting data, gathering samples, and raising awareness about the environmental and wildlife impacts of oceanic plastic pollution found far from shore. Following the film there will be a panel discussion.
Meet Captain Moore, who discovered the Great Pacific Garbage Patch in 1997, and enjoy light refreshments before viewing the film. Guests will have the opportunity to ask questions during the panel discussion featuring Captain Moore and local experts.
