Four Mile Canyon out-and-back road ride

Details
Road bike ride up Fourmile Canyon. This ride is all pavement, except for a short (1.25 mile) crushed gravel section on the Boulder Canyon bike path.
Meet at the Boulder County Justice Center, far east end of the parking lot, ready to roll out at 0800 sharp on Saturday morning, 8/2. Free parking at the Justice Center on the weekends.
This will be an intermediate pace, no-drop ride. We'll regroup a few times during the ride so nobody gets left behind. That said, Fourmile Canyon is a bit of a climb, so please do an honest self evaluation and make sure you're ready for it. This would NOT be a good first ride of the season. I expect the round trip will take 2-2.5 hours.
Start at the Justice Center and take the Boulder Canyon bike path up to Four Mile Canyon. Right up Fourmile Canyon. Turn left at the intersection with Gold Run Road. Continue on Fourmile pavement until it turns to gravel, then reverse the route back to the Justice Center. 19 miles/1700 feet round trip.
Optional coffee in Boulder afterwards.
