What we’re about
We are the South African chapter of the ERPNext user community.
ERPNext is an open-source Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software system specifically aimed at SMEs, with a slant towards medium sized enterprises.
This is a group for current users (wearing either your business or technical hat), wanna-be users and anyone in-between. We anticipate to have quarterly, or even bimonthly, informal meetings to assist one-another with our ERPNext endeavors. These meetings will be of a dual in-person and on-line format.
We are based in Johannesburg South Africa and hope to attract on-line members from across South Africa, and even Southern Africa as a whole.
ERPNext incorporates all the conventional capabilities such as Accounting, CRM, HR, etc. It also addresses very specific industry domains such as Healthcare, Agriculture, Education, etc. Notwithstanding how idiosyncratic your business may be, ERPNext will in all probability be able to accommodate it's unique requirements. For most of us though, the plain vanilla version is where it all started... We're here to help one-another along that journey.
