Happy Adventure!
Wild Russia | Spring in Kamchatka, Russia
**Between the jagged ridges of the Vachkazhets Mountains and the expanse of the Pacific Ocean lies Kamchatka,** an untamed peninsula long considered **the very** **end of the world.**
This is a place that exists in adventurers’ wildest dreams: a land where volcanoes breathe, glaciers carve into the earth, crystalline rivers flow through endless forest, and nature puts on a show that never gets old.
Tucked away in the far east of Russia, this wild land is just a stone’s throw from Alaska across the Bering Sea. Once an exclusionary military zone, **Kamchatka remained closed to the outside world for decades**, and has only recently started welcoming curious travelers. That long isolation has kept it astonishingly pure, a rare frontier where the modern world still feels refreshingly far away.
Here, **more than 300 volcanoes** **rise dramatically from emerald forests and golden tundra.** Dozens of them are still alive and rumbling. Snow-capped peaks tower above steaming valleys, giant Stellers sea eagles ride the winds, orcas glide through icy coastal waters, and king crabs rule the seabed. Keeping watch over it all is the true king of Kamchatka, the mighty brown bear.
This season, we invite you **deep into the soul of southern Kamchatka**. We will conquer the landscapes in sturdy off-road trucks, raft down sparkling rivers, sail into the open Pacific, and soar by helicopter over smoking volcanoes and hidden geyser fields, reaching places few humans have ever set foot upon. In a single day you may wander from flower filled alpine meadows to bubbling geothermal wonderlands, bathe in wild hot springs, and watch salmon leap while brown bears fish just metres away.
**In Kamchatka, nature is not merely scenery,** **but a living force.** You can feel its warm breath rising from the ground, hear its heartbeat in the roaring rivers, and taste its untamed spirit in the salt air and wild berries.
**This trekkup is far more than a journey**. It is a rare and privileged immersion into one of the planet’s last great wildernesses, a land of fire and ice, bears and boiling springs, where the forces of creation still shape the earth before your eyes.
Here, as we stand on the edge of the world, every moment reminds us how small we are, and how deeply alive we can feel when we stand face to face with raw, untamed nature.
**Welcome to Kamchatka. Let’s go!**
**DAY 1 // Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky & Paratunka**
Following our 6-hour domestic flight across the endless Siberian skies, we’ll arrive in **Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky**. A quick drive will take us to our cozy hotel, where we’ll freshen up and have free time to take it easy, beat the jet lag, and get super excited for the days ahead!
There’s the option to stroll around the historic centre of the town or head straight to **Paratunka** and its natural banya (hot springs) for a relaxing soak, in true Russian style.
**DAY 2 // Starichkov Island sea trip**
This morning we head straight to the seaport, jump on a boat and **head out of Avacha Bay into the Pacific Ocean**.
Gliding past the silent sentinels of the Three Brothers rocks, we’ll pass weather-beaten Babushkin Kamen Island, and round the edge of Cape Stanitsky, where the sea opens to reveal **Starichkov Island**. This living sanctuary is a bird paradise, where thousands of puffins, guillemots, cormorants, and murrelets swoop and soar through the skies, watched by the seals and sea lions lounging on the rocks.
What could make this day even more perfect? A delicious lunch! In our first introduction to regional delicacies, we’ll **feast like kings on fresh Kamchatka king crab**, flounder and rockfish. Heading back to port, we’ll stop at the city museum before wrapping up the day.
**DAY 3 //** **ATV trip to Vilyuchinsky Pass & Dachnye Hot Springs**
Today we jump on our ATVs and head straight into the wild volcanic landscape, our hair blowing in the wind. First stop is the **Vilyuchinsky Pass**, offering the stunning sight of a chain of nine volcano tops stretching out into the distance.
On to **Dachnye Hot Springs**, known as the Mini Valley of Geysers, where hot mineral waters spill from the base of Mutnovsky volcano. An easy trek will get us up close and personal with the geothermal madness: steaming vents hissing like angry kettles, bright orange and yellow mud pots bubbling away, and colourful mineral deposits that look like someone spilled paint all over the ground. The air is thick with the sharp bite of sulphur. Hear the Earth breathing: slow, deep, and so alive!
Hungry? A picnic amid this geothermal bonanza just hits different. A selfie with sandwich surrounded by steaming vents and bubbling pots will make it unforgettable!
**DAY 4 // Snowmobile trip to Avachinsky Volcano**
Today it’s time to stand face-to-face with the mighty Avachinsky, an active stratovolcano standing more than 2700 meters above the tundra.
We’ll hop on our snowmobiles and roll up to base camp right on time for a tea break. We’ll explore this black and white playground further, feeling the how small we really are in this valley between the looming Avachinsky and Koryaksky volcanoes. Back to base camp for another round of hot tea before calling it a day and heading back to civilization.
ALTERNATIVE direction (depending on the road conditions): **The Mayachny Cape.**
**DAY 5 //** **Meet the locals & Ozerki** **thermal waters**
Today we step away from the volcanoes and focus on **the human element of Kamchatka**, a place where the Koryak, Itelmen and Even peoples live in harmony, thriving in one of the harshest environments on Earth. We’ll learn how they’ve survived in this wild land for thousands of years: reindeer herding, fishing, and continuing shamanic traditions. Expect stories, songs, maybe a quick dance performance, and the chance to try on real national costumes for some epic shots. The highlight will surely be the kennel full of **energetic Kamchatka huskies** and other northern breeds. You can pet them and even try driving a dog sled yourself if you’re feeling brave!
In the afternoon, we’ll head to **Ozerki** for today’s grand finale:
bathing in the natural thermal radon water swimming pool. Silky-soft, pleasantly warm and therapeutic, any soreness or stress will instantly melt away. As we float, muscles turning to jelly, the cold Kamchatka air numbing our faces… this will be an experience we never forget.
**DAY 6 // Optional activities**
Free time at leisure for optional activities.
**DAY 7 // King crabs & volcanic sands**
For our final day, we’re going full Ocean Mode, meaning crab fishing and volcanic Pacific shores. After breakfast we’ll head to Avacha Bay, jump on a motorboat and commence our **hunt for Kamchatka king crab straight from the icy sea**. Back on shore, the crew will boil up the massive spiky legs right there in seawater.
We’ll continue on to the legendary **Khalaktyrsky black sand beach**, walking barefoot on the dark volcanic sand with the Pacific waves crashing beside us. Wild, cinematic, unreal are the words to use here.
On the way back to hotel, we’ll have time for a shopping haul at the fish market – think smoked fish, caviar, and souvenirs – before heading back to the hotel.
**DAY 8 // Departure**
Departure day. Airport transfer, bye bye Kamchatka!

Queen of the Desert | Journey Across Namibia
If you've ever dreamed of discovering the **true face of Africa** \- this trip is for you: surreal landscapes\, breathtaking views of mountainous dunes\, rich flora and fauna in their habitat\, unique cultures\. NAMIBIA electrifies visitors and for a reason it is called **the most photogenic place on Earth!**
It is difficult to describe the color of hot sand warmed from the sun, you just have to see it. The impressive **Skeleton Coast**, called by the former Portuguese sailors "the gate to hell", located on the Atlantic with shipwrecks on it. It's no secret that the coast is also **a favorite seal place** that you can often find there.
People living here regardless of whether they represent the tribe of Bushmen Damara, Herero, Bantu, Hottentots or Himba adhere to the principle that the cheapest and easiest way to improve their image is to smile. You'll also find out how much truth is said that we **Europeans have watches and Africans have time.**
What awaits you here are unforgettable joint **evenings with the greatest sunsets**, campfires under a canopy of stars, camps set up in the middle of the wildest corners of the world and the company of animals known so far mainly from National Geographic programs. We will experience the rhythm of communing with wildlife and experience the diversity of nature, meet unknown cultures and tribes.
Now you can get on the road with us and set off to the wilderness of some of the most remote places on African continent. **Namibia is a real DESERT QUEEN**, ruling its kingdom with the wind that carves the dunes, shapes beaches, rocky peaks and river banks.
**Let's go!!**
**Day 1: Windhoek**
Arrival in Windhoek, Namibia’s laid-back capital where colonial architecture meets Africa. After a short briefing, transfer into the city. The rest of the day at leisure to stretch the legs, grab a drink, or simply relax.
**Day 2: Palmwag**
We head north into the wild, where landscapes begin to open and the real adventure kicks in. On the way, stop at a traditional Himba village to learn about one of Namibia’s most iconic cultures with red ochre, intricate hairstyles, ancient traditions.
Arriving in Palmwag, the scenery turns dramatic: red hills, dry riverbeds, and desert-adapted wildlife territory. In the afternoon, head out on a scenic game drive through one of Namibia’s most untouched concessions. Keep your eyes open for desert elephants, giraffes, or even the elusive black rhino.
**Day 3: Swakopmund**
Today we follow the raw Atlantic edge of Namibia along the Skeleton Coast, a beautiful stretch of foggy shores, shipwreck stories, and endless horizons.
Stop at Cape Cross, home to one of the largest Cape fur seal colonies in the world, their population is about 260 thousand individuals.
By afternoon, arrive in Swakopmund, where desert dunes crash into the ocean. Indulge in this gorgeous locality with its beach walks, German inspired cafés, and few adrenaline options.
Optional kayaking with seals or skydiving.
**Day 4: Namib desert**
Leave the coast behind and drive inland toward the legendary Namib — the oldest desert on Earth.
On the way, stop at the Kuiseb Canyon viewpoint and cross the Tropic of Capricorn. The landscapes become vast, empty, almost cinematic.
Arrive in the desert and settle into the silence. Golden light, endless horizons, and star filled skies above.
**Day 5: Sossusvlei & Deadvlei**
Early wake up call. We drive deep into Sossusvlei to catch sunrise over the towering dunes. Climb Dune 45 as the sand glows red and gold beneath your feet. Some dunes here rise nearly 400 meters, the highest in the world.
Once we are done with picnic breakfast at the feet of the dune, we head for a walk through otherwordly Deadvlei, where the vast expanse of white salt contrasts with the surrounding red dunes and dried tree stumps.
**Day 6: Sesriem Canyon - Windhoek**
Before leaving the desert, explore Sesriem Canyon, carved over centuries by seasonal floods, a cool and shaded contrast to the dunes.
Hit the road back to Windhoek. Upon arrival, enjoy city tour if time allows. Final sunset in Namibia deserving the last toast.

Timor, Leste Go! | Journey Across East Timor (via Bali)
**Imagine a place where the sun rises over mist-wrapped mountains, the ocean glows electric turquoise**, and the only thing crowding the beach is a curious sea turtle. Welcome to Timor-Leste, the secret half-island paradise that time and mass tourism forgot.
Located 600 km north of Australia, this is **Southeast Asia’s wildest, youngest country**. The world’s newest democracy, born in 2002 after centuries of Portuguese spice traders, revolutionary spirit, and a hard-won fight for freedom. The scars of the past are still healing, but that only makes the beauty feel more raw, more real, more alive.
Here, Catholicism dances with ancient animist beliefs, Portuguese fades into melodic Tetum, and every smile feels like it’s been waiting just for you. Roads wind through coffee plantations and jungle-shrouded hills, then suddenly drop to idyllic white sand beaches where dolphins play just offshore.
Only 30 km across glittering straits lies **Atauro Island, a laidback jewel** with 9,000 souls, zero traffic lights, and some of the healthiest coral reefs on earth. Snorkel straight off the beach, hike volcanic ridges at sunrise, then kick back with a cold one while fishermen grill the day’s catch under the palms.
And that’s just the warm-up.
On this Trekkup, we’ll **chase sunrise from the summit of Mount Ramelau (the highest peak in Timor), wander forgotten coastal villages, swim in hidden lagoons**, and discover places most travelers will never hear about. No crowds. No resorts. Just pure, uncut tropical freedom and the friendliest welcome in Asia.
Ready? **Leste GO!**
**Day 1 :: Dili**
Arrive in Dili, complete immigration formalities, and check in at the hotel followed by a welcome lunch. In the afternoon we visit the vibrant Tais Market, then head to the impressive Cristo Rei statue (third tallest in the world) and the nearby 6-metre statue of Pope John Paul II. For a taste of local culture we can stop at a traditional cockfight. We end the day with sundowners and relaxed beach time at Areia Branca before dinner.
**DAY 2: HATUBUILICO – MAUBISSE**
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for the highlands with panoramic views over Dili, the bay, and Atauro Island on the horizon. We pause at the serene WWII Memorial, then continue to the historic town of Aileu for lunch at a scenic vanilla farm. The drive continues through rolling green hills and coffee plantations until we reach charming Maubisse. In the evening a traditional welcome ceremony awaits, complete with warm local hospitality.
**DAY 3: MT. RAMELAU**
Early wake-up, and depart to the trailhead of Mount Ramelau (2,963 m), Timor-Leste’s highest peak. The steady 2 hr ascent brings us to the summit in time for a spectacular sunrise. Cheer up the sunrise with few selfies, descent and reaching the base by mid morning. Return to the guesthouse for breakfast and a quick refresh, then drive back toward Dili with a refreshing stop at Dokomali Falls – a hidden gem where clear mountain water cascades into a natural pool surrounded by lush jungle, perfect for a cool swim, and a light picnic before continuing to the capital. Overnight in Dili.
**DAY 4: ATAURO**
Morning transfer to the port and a scenic ride to Atauro Island. After settling in, we spend the day snorkelling over vibrant coral reefs and exploring the laid-back main village. Fresh seafood lunch, relaxed beach time, and the gentle rhythm of island life take over.
**DAY 5: ATAURO**
Breakfast at leisure, followed by a boat trip along the untouched western coast to snorkel at Atekry, Adara, and Iliana are some of the healthiest reefs in the region. Swim with tropical fish and possibly sea turtles, enjoy lunch on a quiet beach, and soak in the serene surroundings. In the late afternoon beachside bonfire, fresh grilled seafood, local music under an endless starry sky.
**DAY 6: DILI**
Morning boat back to the capital. Ease into the day with authentic Timorese coffee, warm sweet breads, and sasoru grilled corn. Free time for final souvenir shopping at the markets or one last swim. Final overnight in Dili.
**DAY 7: DEPARTURE TO BALI**
Breakfast and transfer to Dili airport for the short flight back to Bali and onward connections home. You may find yourself already planning your return before the plane even takes off.
**Level of difficulty:** Easy and relaxing.
**Activities:** Trekking, boating, swimming, sightseeing, snorkelling, optional diving.

Not as far from us as Caribbean but equally beautiful, Indonesian Archipelago is an irresistible kaleidoscope of places filled with nature wonders. The count is endless here, so each trip we stand with difficult choices. This trip, dedicated to encounter deadly **Komodo Dragons** at their habitat of Indonesian Archipelago, however our feet and boat will take us much further - to three colored volcanic lakes, flying foxes and tribal villages. See our trips back in 2016 & 2017:
Here is one of our signature trails:
**Day 1 / Meeting in Jakarta for a flight to Flores.**
Transfer to the beautiful lodge at the steps of Kelimutu, rest and short hike in the nearby villages, overnight in lodge.
**Day 2 / Exploration of Kelimutu volcano**
You may be thinking you re dreaming but its all for real... The sunrise from peak of Kelimutu (1,639 mtrs) overlooking the caldera of three colored lake is nature wonder on its own, unwritten category. The color candy of lakes waters from blue to cold-steel grey, reflecting the early sun rays is mixed mere fogs and clouds...
Once we reach the peak for sunrise we will continue hike behind the volcano for few hours before we come back to the lodge.
**Day 3 / Cycling jungles of Kelimutu & tribal village of Moni**
Cycling in the nearby villages for half day, after lunch check out and leave to Ende, on the way visiting tribal village of Moni. Overnight in Ende.

In the morning flight to Labuan Bajo and finally board a private pirate sailboat that will be our home for the next three nights.
The boat has a wonderful top deck for lounging, sunbathing, and offers great views of the island chains. In the morning, we will be passing uncounted islands. We will have lunch on the boat at the port of Rincca Island. In the early afternoon, we will enter the national park on Rinca and get our first views of the Komodo Dragons. We will do a trek through the grasslands, looking for the infamous dragons in their natural habitat. The impressive 10 feet long lizards hunt their prey by biting them once, and waiting for the infection to set in and cause death. After our exploration of the island, we will head by boat to dock for the evening in a bay surrounded by mangroves.
**Day 5 / Komodo Island - Chase the Dragon!!!**

Twin Green | Journey Across Sao Tome and Principe via Ghana
**Welcome to the unknown paradise!** From waterfalls in the middle of the jungle to banana-shaped beaches passing through a national park , these islands of the Gulf of Guinea boast of being one of the least visited places on the planet and of being that exotic destination and **Paradise that you thought you could only dream of**. It is the part of land closest to the center of the planet - coinciding with the passage of the Equator and very close to the zero meridian. Are you coming on a trip to a country so unusual that few manage to locate it on the map?
São Tomé marvels with their **Portuguese colonial mix**, beaches and the laid-back atmosphere in the Gulf of Guinea. To define themselves, Santotomenses use a very graphic expression, derived from Portuguese: they are leve-leve. That is, calm, relaxed. And it is that relaxation seems to preside over this country that is both the center and the end of the world.
**It is not a tourist destination at all,** despite how much it has to offer like wild postcard beaches. A very important portion of virgin forest, declared a Biosphere Reserve, with the Ôbo Natural Park as the main banner, numerous cocoa plantations or coffee (known as roças). A country with dazzling landscapes with incredible volcanic chimneys emerging in the middle of nowhere, a huge number of endemic animal and plant species, as well as others such as sea turtles, birds and whales, which are part of the objective of many nature lovers visiting the country.
The small country exhibits the traces of a troubled history that began when two Portuguese navigators landed in 1470 in this then deserted site. A story that is revealed to those who wander the streets of the capital (which is called, like the island, Santo Tomé).
The parallel architectures of this tiny city summarize the history of the country: some old wooden huts evoke the initial time, when the islands were populated by slaves brought from the mainland. Some colonial buildings with large wooden balconies recall the five centuries of colonization. Uniform, greyish apartment blocks hark back to the era of real socialism, from independence in 1975 to the political and economic liberalization of the early 1990s. Meanwhile, a few ultramodern buildings made of large glass point to the future.
The engine of the country's wealth and today constitutes one of its great cultural and tourist attractions: **las roças**. If it weren't for the insidious humidity, the visitor could have the sensation of landing on some sugar plantation in the Brazilian northeast: the same buildings with a colonial flavor, the same atmosphere of an old decayed empire. Also its train to transport the merchandise, as some old rails recall.
**The most incredible landscapes on this side of the equator**, with various reminiscences of films such as Jurassic Park, King Kong as well as others in which the jungle is the setting. To top it off with a tropical fruit market, canoes with freshly caught fish, the smiles of the happy people of the islands and a veritable swarm of children jumping into the river to play as if there were no tomorrow. São Tomé and Príncipe will fill many blank pages on your adventure notebook.
