The plan is to walk up from Maggia around the Valle del Salto tour.
Rendezvous 1: Zurich HB under the Blue Angel 08.25
Rendezvous 2: Locarno Train Station, 10.45 bus stop A
Rendezvous 3: Maggia 11.20
Easy-paced walk:
Distance: 9 km, hiking trail.
Ascent/Descent: = + 750 m/- 750 m
Hiking Time: 4 h
We might go higher up the valley depending on the fitness of the group.

What to bring: good walking shoes, sunscreen, a hiking pole, a picnic blanket and a swimsuit if you want to swim at the waterfall in Maggia.
This hike contains no Llamas.
How to get there:
From Zurich we take the 08.33 train (platform 9, direction Venezia) then change at Bellinzona taking the 10.19 train (platform 3, direction Locarno) to Locarno. Then take the 10.50 bus (Stop A, direction Cavergno) to Maggia, arriving 10.17 in Maggia.
From Zug join the train at 08.59 h platform 2 (direction Venezia).
From Lugano take the 10.05 train (platform 4, direction Locarno) arriving 10.38 in Locarno.
To return:
We take the bus back to Locarno (xx.05, xx.35).
