We walk up Monte San Salvatore from Paradiso and then onto Morcote.

We return via boat or bus and train from Morcote to Lugano train station to catch a train home.
How to get to Lugano:
From Milano Centrale take the 09:10 train, arriving 10.28 in Lugano.
From Locarno take the 09.52 train (platform 2, direction Chiasso) arriving 10.24.
From Zurich HB: Take the 08:33 train (platform 8, direction Venezia), arriving 10.28 in Lugano.
What to bring: good walking shoes, sunscreen, hiking pole, swimsuit (optional).
