About us

Hey everyone!
We're Alex and Nenad, founders of Maverick Adventures.

Since December 2025, we started weekend coastal walks from Estepona.

32km to Marbella, 11km/22km to Duquesa (and back), or a short walk along the promenade to sit down for some drinks and chat.

We've been long distance walkers for years now, and know the benefits it provides us with - physically and mentally, whilst also being the best way to do something physical, while meeting new people.

We do these coastal walks, as well as our longer retreat, walking from Malaga to Marbella/Estepona across 5 days.

### Who wants to join us on our walk to Marbella from Estepona this Sunday?

It's an open invitation for all of you living here as well as for all the travellers in the area!
Discover the coast in the best possible way using your own two feet.

We are starting from the Estepona Marina, right in front of Sala Duende, at 9:00 am.
We'll walk for the next 7-8 hours together along the coast, walking 32 km all the way up to Marbella

Whether you want to be a bit more active and do some exercise over the weekend or you want to meet new people on the coast, this is the perfect opportunity for it!

Here are the key details for Sunday 17th May!

Start time is *9 a.m* in front of Sala Duende, Estepona marina.
We'll be there from 8:50 and we'll leave at 9:10 sharp.

It's a 32KM walk that will take us seven to eight hours.

Upon arrival at Marbella we will sit down for celebratory tapas and drinks.

Bring good shoes, a backpack, water, sunscreen, and any snacks.
There is no price tag for this walk; that is purely up to you on how much you enjoy it. This is a full day's experience, and you determine the value through tips.

This walk isn't a race. The purpose of it is to have a different kind of Saturday where we're walking, talking, and seeing the beautiful coastline.

Estepona to Duquesa Walk

Join us as we walk to Duquesa!

We've had our 32km long walk to Marbella, but this week we're switching it up with a lighter 11km walk to Duquesa, with the option of walking back an extra 11km!

We'll meet in front of Sala Duende, by the Estepona marina at 9am.

The walk is fully coastal, and upon arrival to Puerto de la Duquesa, we'll sit down for a coffee or drinks, chat, socialise, and have an active Saturday.

The walk is open and accessible to everyone, so there is no price tag!
You determine the value through your tip!

Bring water, snacks, good shoes, and a great attitude!!
You'll have a blast!
