Automated Trading Deep-Dive
Details
Hi everyone -
We're back this month with a topic that many of you have expressed an interest about: programming automated trading bots.
Our presenter is Timothy Clayton, a software developer and blockchain enthusiast. Timothy will be speaking about automated trading on cryptocurrency exchanges, including a brief history of bots. He'll share his knowledge around strategies, and deep-dive into a Market Maker bot, including its strategy, technical implementation, tips and gotchas, and historical performance data.
Timothy's talk should be insightful for anyone who's currently operating, or thinking about building, an automated trading system. We'll also have plenty of time for discussion around all things Ethereum...and as you're probably aware, there's a LOT going on right now.
Our host and sponsor this month is Faction, a cloud infrastructure company with a unique angle on IaaS. Pizza and drinks will be provided. Thanks, Faction!
Parking is available in the Faction building, but it's a bit pricey. There are other lots and garages in the area, and you may be able to find on-street parking as well.
See you there!
The Ethereum Denver Team
P.S. If you're interested in IPFS, our fellow cryptoheads at Distributed Computing Denver (https://www.meetup.com/Distributed-Computing-Denver/events/237178308/) will be covering that topic the same night. IPFS/Filecoin is being built on Ethereum, so we'll be making this a focus for an upcoming meetup as well.
