This event will feature talks by both Irina Bolychevsky from redecentralize.org and Stephan Tual CCO of Ethereum and Adam Vaziri from Diacle.

Ethereum and the IoT - Presented by Stephan Tual, CCO.

From television that listen to your living room chatter, to glasses recording and uploading everything that you drink, the IoT is brining us closer to a dramatic overreach in commercial and personal privacy. Can we envision a better Internet of Things where our appliances will work for us, and not the other way around? How far are we from autonomous, connected devices? And what could possibly incentivize businesses to implement a reasonable, privacy friendly IoT?

The evening will begin with networking drinks and lightning talks from 6.30pm onwards followed by presentations in the auditorium followed by a Q&A session.

We expect this event to be very lively and cover a broad range of topics, so bring your business cards and your questions about decentralisation and what changes it will bring.

HOW TO GET THERE

The venue and date are secured thanks to the amazing people at the London Escalator.

Once you are at the address (you can't miss it, it's a huge building!), enter the "Foxcroft and Ginger Cafe" to the left of the big dog mural and make your way upstairs. We wear Ethereum t-shirts, don't be shy! :)

By Tube: Stop in WhiteChapel then turn left outside the station, orStepney Green (turn right), it's a 7 minute walk either way (there are buses if needed).
