Grace Shelter Support: Sack Lunches!

NOTICE this is in person!

We will again make PB&J sandwiches and assemble sack lunches, including snack foods (individually wrapped), drinks, and fruit that the staff can hand out through the rest of the month at the Grace Church location in downtown San Jose. We also write personal notes to include with the lunches.

This month, we welcome Phil who started Grace Solutions, the group we support with our lunches, to join us and linger at our solidarity lunch. This is a great opportunity to learn about the needs of those who use the services at Grace. Be sure to join us!

We will also hear how our lunches are received and maybe learn what we need to change!

We've been at this since June 2022, and it has been satisfying connecting with others as we contribute to others.

The plan: Gather at 12:00 noon PST Sunday (We start on time!) to make PB&J sandwiches and pack sack lunches and write notes to put in the sacks. Tuesday, the lunches will be delivered to Phil at the Grace parking lot.

Who can help, one way or another? If you can join the sandwich making at 12:00, RSVP and you will get the address through a meetup message. Want to contribute something to the lunches? RSVP and you will get details.
