Using Arthur Dobrin's book Ethics for Everyone, we'll be discussing Chapter 20: Is It Ever Right for Me to Discriminate? Perhaps the scenario (hiring a secretary) isn't current for us, but the question of what factors to consider when making a choice is current. Dobrin asks: Are preferences based on race, gender, or ethnicity always wrong?
